About computer firewalls?

I have firewall protection through windows xp, I had recently installed McAfee Internet Security Suites thst also contains a personal firewall, seince I have installed the McAfee my computer is running very slow, should i disable one of the firewalls and if so witch one would be better to keep up XP,or the McAfee

What your really asking which is better XP firewall or McAfee, XP firewall is not that good, only works on incoming not out going, McAfee does both; therefore McAfee firewall is the better.

window firewall is enough

xp is better because it comes with your computer and i would say it makes your cuomputer run normal pace because its integrated

disable windows Firewall and use McAfee

A computer doesn't need more than one firewall...I recommend Windows Firewall.

Disable the XP firewall.
As mentioned above, the XP firewall blocks incoming traffic only. If malware should happen to get into your system it is free to send *out* any info that it wants to because the XP firewall by design doesn't stop *anything* outgoing. A firewall has to be bi-directional to be effective, so axe the XP and keep your McAfee.
