Is Spycleaner ok to use? |
heard it plants root kits. Not necessarily true but just want to clarify it It's SpyCleaner2006 or whatever from cnet Avoid it. Spyclean doesn't plant a rootkit, it opens a port(used for updates) and thats a big security risk. Spy bot also does this, other programs usually just open the port when updating spyclean(and spy bot s&d) have the port open the whole time the process is running. |
