What do I do about a person on this site who is sending me vicious emails because I didn't pick his answer?

I'm not trying to cause further trouble, I honestly don't know what to do.

If you know who the person is, then you file a report to abuse@yahoo.com And make sure that you put in the subject line urgent/Yahoo Q&A.

Sincerely sorry to hear that some psyco is sending you vicious emails.

Plus the sending of emails that are vicious is a crime & you can file a police complaint with your local police.

Also advise abuse@yahoo.com that you are sending them a forward of these emails, so that the can suspend the account of the person who is sending them to you. This means that not only their Yahoo email account will be suspended for good, but also the ability to use Q&A.

There is really only one problem. The person can open a new account under a false name with Yahoo. Unless you are able to get Yahoo to watch out for the IP address of the person when they decide to open a new account. (Yahoo can cxl. the account).

If you look in your options located in your emails, you can open options, open and look for where you type in the email address for blocking. Still report the person.

Wish that I could give you more advise.

Please excuse my English, not my primary language.

Minddoctor, France

block him forever.

report him

report him and block him

You can report abuse. Go into his yahoo profile and click on report abuse.

You can block his e-mails as spam, or better yet report him to Yahoo to prevent future harassment.

go to the email options page and have his email address blocked. or send the info to yahoo and let them deal with it

I think you can report them to yahoo as well as block them

block him delet him report him nd if that dosent work dont open his emails

man thats gotta suck. if i were you i would block him and tell him he is a jerk and should be a good sport. good luck

how did they get your e-mail address? obviously you should have keept it private. Just write some viscous e-mails back! lol

block him and report him

block block block block block.

block him, or if its really serious file a police report.

report him.

Well you should tell him to shut the fck up, then block him
wat a creeper

Just ban his email through a filter in your email program utilities.
He's an "Answer Stalker"!

lol...that's dumb. You could try writing to Yahoo customer service (yes, you can block him and report him...but mean emails for not picking an answer? I think he needs to get off of Yahoo forever).

Report each one to Yahoo. Then if not stop, block his incoming mail to your mail inbox.

report him ,block him, change avatar pic and nic name.
once he is on blocked list you can watch him.....good luck

Click on the Community Guidelines link and see if there is a contact email or number.

You should be able to block him. Click on his user name and then when you go into his profile you should be able to block.

Good Luck

Report them, locate one of their answers on one of your questions and select the Report It button, select the harassment and enter in some text for Yahoo, along with copying and pasting their message in the text window.

You can just block the address or use a filter to automatically send all the e-mails from that address to the trash basket so that they will all get deleted at some stage.

Contact Yahoo with copies of the emails. Do not respond to them yourself. If possible, bounce the incoming emails back at the person, as if you have closed your email account.

And block him.

Report and block the person

Dear Ravgirl:

Thank you very much for asking this question! I know who the guy is who did this to you, and he sent me half a dozen nasty e-mails as well (as I was the one you chose for best answer). It is rather shocking that the individual is listed as a top contributor, when he behaves like this!

To all those who are giving helpful answers on this question: thank you very much! I, too, was wondering what to do about this kind of abuse, and I suspect there are many others who have wondered the same.

block the user 4 ever or send them a e mail asken them nicely or if real bad report that person.
big hugs
baby
