Whats going on with my computer? A unwanted/unknown radio station keeps playing? |
It continues when all windows are shut and ctrl, alt, del says no applications are running. Anyone know the cause of this? or possibly how to fix it? Cheers I have Avast anti-virus, and I have ran full scans on Windows defender and A2 anti malware, I have just got rid of the smitfraud virus (I hope) could it be related to this? I think we may both have the same problem. I'm picking up music, a random group conversation and also a windows "start navigator" click. I've ran Pestpatrol, CA Antispy, Adaware 2007 and Norton spyware scan. I've also up the homehub to 128 wep and new stations by registration. At the moment I'm at a loss to know what the problem is; but I now know I'm not alone. I'll monitor task manager and post again. BTW do you use Utorrent? You may want to have your computer checked for EVP. That could be the cause, but I suggest a trip to the technician. run windows defender Take your tin foil hat off It could be a radio station, or a virus. go to control panel, add/remove software.. see if anything is listed on that list is something u dont want, remove it.. yeah every thing he said. :-) it could be a radio station off of yahoo widgets if you have that. Try systems restore from a time before the problem started. "It" is caused by overuse of a PC or any other electronic artifact |
