Can someone help with my problem with nortons anti-virus?

i uninstalled it but it says it is still there in add/remove. it wont uninstall from there either. i cant view webpages because of it either. but it connects to the internet

symantec offers an uninstaller... use that its the only way to completely remove norton.

How did you un install Norton ?

To truly un install Norton you need to use there removal tool.

Get the Norton Removal Tool off the internet, it is the best way.

You can uninstall Nortons from the add/remove program list. Go to Start> Control Panel> look for Programs, then click on Uninstall A Program, once this window opens up look for Nortons, just click to highlight and after nortons is highlighted, then Right-Click, once you right click it will say "Uninstall", I know because I have nortons and I just tried it, but I didn't go all the way as to uninstall because I am keeping it. Disconnect from the Internet first, then uninstall from add/remove programme. Should sort the problem.
