I need help. I downloaded this application from some website named www.newfunpages.com, and now it has put up its own desktop screen on my computer, and won't let me chsnge it. What should I do???? Don't worry guys, I went to the control panel and deleted it from remove software button Delete your temporary files. I would also go to your download apps and delete whatever you downloaded from that website. Hopefully its just something annoying, and not something that will harm your comp. why did you download it in the first place? dont download from untrusted websites. go on control panel and uninstall the thing. press CTRL+ALT+DELETE then end the task of that stupid program then uninstall it from the add remove option that will do the trick If you cant find it in add/remove..then this will work..if it is not in add remove..they put it the start menu..which means it starts each time you start the computer..to shut it off, go to start, run, type in msconfig then choose the start tab on top and uncheck anything that looks like it..you can't hurt anything by unchecking any item, as you can always go back and check then again..but most stuff in there is not needed...all I have checked is my anti virus program ..no reason for all these program to start when you start the computer...if you need them, you turn them on..this will work...gl.. use Ccleaner to clean up your pc and run an online scanner |
