How to tell what someone's been up to on my computer?

someone at work uses my pc when i've gone home. don't know why, he's got his own. is there some way i can interrogate the pc to see what was done on it? and, no, i can't password protect it, tried that and they rang me at home to ask for the password....

thanks folks. he's not touched the internet, not created any documents. baffled, what's he doing? i delete all my history before i go home, so he can't see what i've been doing...

Hit the 'history' button next to the 'favourites' button - every site that has been entered will be on there for about 3 weeks!
If they have deleted it, then type in
www. in the search bar at the top and hit every letter individually after it e.g.
www.a
and it will bring up all the sites entered starting with an 'a'.
If they have deleted that as well - ya stuffed!
Lets hope he is not a porn addict or into beastility!

tell him u dont want him to use ur computer wen uve gone home !!
if not then make sure u delete the cookies from ur comp and all the internet use u have made and then wen u come in the next day go into history and it will tell u wat he has been on !
and also on Excel and Word u cn go into history and see if he has been into any of ur files !!

get a keylogger installed on it.

it will record every keystroke made on the pc invisibly.

If you go to documents and settings then go to the user. then type recent. It will show everything for about 6 months. eg.
D:\Documents and Settings\User\recent

Why not just set up another user account on the computer??

Take the mouse or even the keyboard home with you. :)

There are programs you can buy that will record every key stroke you have on your computer...then it'll email you what's going on and the time it was done. It even records IM messages. Try Circuit City, there are 2 programs, but I can't remember the name of either one. They are expensive, around $120 to $150 each....but it is worth it. Parents also use this to monitor where their children have been on the net, and what's being told to them. If you can't do that, then password protect your computer. Best of luck to you.

Its not limewire that has the viruses. Its the content that you download of limewire. And every program like limewire uses the same networks (mostly). So in short no, there isn't.
