Is there anything like limewire but with at least fewer viruses?

Is there anything like limewire but with at least fewer viruses?

Its not limewire that has the viruses. Its the content that you download of limewire. And every program like limewire uses the same networks (mostly). So in short no, there isn't.

Pretty much they all have viruses best bet would be to have a good anti virus program scanning all your downloads from LimeWire and such. Good Luck!!

Any peer to peer software is going to be infested with viruses. If you want safe downloads of music, you have to stick with legal sources. That means paying for it instead of stealing it. If you use P2P software like Limewire, you're playing russian roulette. At some point karma will get you and you'll pay more in fixing your computer than you would if you'd just bought your music.

You can download music legally and its free too!!
