Spysweeper vs. Spyware Doctor?

PC World has pretty good reviews on both, but for anyone who's used both... which do you think is better?

I have used both, they are both really great. I notice that Spyware Doctor is a little more sluggish on start-up on systems with low memory.

You can't go wrong with either one, I personally use Webroot but I would be just fine going with Spyware Doctor.

And no, people... don't start with the "AVG is teh bests on deh internetz!1q1!1". It is ok, but all reputable sites are both of these pieces of software better for spyware than AVG

Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D are both better, even in the free versions.

I personally like the FREE AVG antispyware. Along with ad-aware and spybot.

Yeh listen "Troy G", have you used the program? AVG found viruses that Spyware Doctor could not detect. About 50 more infected files actually. You dont know what you're talking about. You DO NOT have to pay for virus protection these days. Just beacuse you pay, doesnt mean it works better. Check out this review from majorgeeks.com...

"I did a new scan after reboot and Spy Sweeper again found Hotbar, Gator (GAIN) and only one cookie. This is not a bad thing since some files can be in use, so I like to do a double scan on a heavily infested machine. I once again rebooted to make sure they were removed, and they were. The only other problem I had was my Temporary Internet Files and Cookie folders were loaded with cookies and images, some relating to these spyware related items that were removed. Two of these files were infected with the Trojan horse Revop.C and Downloader.Dyfica.AC and were detected by AVG, not Spy Sweeper. Two of Spy Sweeper鈥檚 competitions both found left over cookies and registry entries from spyware removed by Spy Sweeper."
