Go to microsoft download center and install Windows malicious software removal tool. After you do this run a full scan. If this does not work go to majorgeeks and search for mywebsearch removal tool. Its all I have to offer other than a reformat.

CCleaner is also strongly recommended to clean off the temporary junk that can slow your machine.

this may sound too simple but i went to my add ons and disabled it and in my task manager,it has gone and not been back....that was after i took it off everywhere else i saw it.

This is the problem with listening to every idiot on the web who tells you to install every program in the world on your computer.

The bottom line is you shouldn't need multiple antispyware programs installed on your computer and you stating that you've got that is to me the root cause of your problem. You do not understand the ramifications of your actions and you do not know how to distinguish good from bad advice.

As an information security professional my advice to you would be to format that entire drive and reinstall windows, then run windows updates until they are current and keep them that way, then install a PROPER security suite from a reliable vendor like McAfee and ensure it too is properly configured and completely up to date... and to do this before reinstalling anything else or browsing anywhere else.

I say to format instead of manually removing for a few reasons... a) the manual removal of this mywebsearch is already proven clearly too much for you and b) you've got so much other crap on your computer and probably alot more wrong that you would be better off starting over and learning.

So after you've gotten windows and security back in... At that point and before you consider installing any more of these crapware solutions I suggest you remember this moment and all of the insanity that led to it.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over... expecting different results.

You are either going to learn from this situation and learn fast that you and the people you've been lsitening to are absolutely clueless in regards to your computer, its maintenance, and above all its security.. or you are going to continue being very upset.

Good Luck
