BitComet Says my listen port is blocked?

Bit comet says my listen port is blocked. However

1) no firewall is turned on for my linksys router
2) no windows firewall is turned on.

I believe that a virus or something similar may have caused this, due to a bad download near or on the 12th of this month.

IN ADDITION on this same day when i hit cntrl-alt-delete it no longer shows the FULL version of my dialogue box. it shows a smaller more compact version.

my ability to reset to a previous days settings via system restore is also broked.

any suggestions?

you have to forward the port in your router setup page to listen to your listening port and send all that information to a specific computer (Lan ip).
