changing your lap-top's battery performance to the highest value can also be a quick way to improve performance. (you can go the the control panel, if using windows, and changed your battery's performance from something like balanced to something like high performance). be warned thought, changing these settings to high values will of course drain your battery faster...
you can also go into the BIOS and turn up the performance of your processor, your hard drive, etc. however, i would advise you have someone a little more experienced do that for you.

it can remove every thing that harm ur computer I suggest you buy a portable Hard drive and backup everything from time to time. I have one just for all my music. Then I make a hard copy of all my songs on a disk. Backing up is the most important thing you can do. ALL computer will crash at some time. i also have 2 running PCs just in case one goes down I have my second one to work on. Try a simple clean up of first running the disk cleanup to eliminate old programs/software, old files, and such.
Then go to My Computer to the C drive and right click it then select tools on the menu.
Choose Scan and check both boxes and it will let you know to restart the PC.
After it finishes scanning, defrag again.
