Does anyone know a good FREE anti virus?

I have Norton, but I can't stand it and I was wondering if anyone knows a good free anti virus or if you have to pay fro them all.

Sorry, I meant I have Macafee and it sucks. So yeah.

Usually you will have to buy one if you actually want it to do its job....however depending on which company you get yoru internet from...sometimes they offer free virus software just for using them. For example....comcast offers the McAfee suite free for customers.

avast and avg are good ree anti viuses. Visit www,cnet.com and type those name into the search bar. You'll find a lot of other free stuff there too!

Avira Antivirus 94.26% (free)
Avast Antivirus 87.46 (free)
AVG Antivirus 82.82% (free)
They all have resident protection and regular scans
but Avira is the best antivirus protection out there according to virus detection rates

AVG-It's a good anti-virus and it scans automatically...it can also heal, delete and move it
Avast!-It alerts you when there's a virus or what kind of virus your computes has...also heals, deletes and moves it
Panda-It's free online... it has the same function as the anti-virus softwares above... they also send you notifications and recommend some programs that can help your computer from viruses...
