I need to know my wep key i forgot it. When i type in 192.168.1.1 is asks me for my username that I forget.? |
Is their another way i can get my wep? You should be able to log into the routers configuration page with the credentials You cannot "get" your WEP... even if you were to access the admin panel you would need to change the password. The next best thing is to hard reset your router - it usually involves holding the reset or power button for several seconds (sometimes 30) that will reset the password and login information to defaults out of the factory. You have 2 options. One try and remember your WEP key. The default is usually admin and no password OR sometimes its admin and the password is password. Two you can reset your router and re-enter all your information and a new WEP key in there. You can also hack into your wireless router and get the key but you will have to look that up yourself. |
