My PC has been infected with the 'Virus Heat' bug. How can I get rid of it for free??

It's BADLY affecting the performance of my pc and it just won't go away !! Checked out various 'free' spyware solutions suggested by Google but they....scan free and then.....want to charge you to register so you can delete the problems.!! Can anyone HELP !!

Hi there - I had the same problem and after much searching I finally found a programme which is free to download and free to use which completely removed virus heat. Malwarebytes anti-malware from malwarebytes.org is the one.There is a version of it which you can buy however the free version did the job. Once you've installed it run the quick scan which should mostly get rid of it and then totally remove it after rebooting.
Good luck and please pass this info on because it took me ages to find this solution and it seems it's the same for everyone.

shoulda had prtection in the first place, go buy a computer mag with a free cd with virus software on, free trial ones.....

If you can find the files by doing a search..... Right click on them and re-name them then Delete...... In most cases this will work.

Try a free download of Ad-aware from Lavasoft.com. Most everyone I know used it. AVG had a free spyware scanner that is good also.

Follow the manual removal instructions from the following site and then get yourself a proper security suite from a reliable vendor like McAfee or stop complaining and get some common sense.

People who want to be cheap and then don't want to pay for their cheapness are silly. The cheap comes out expensive.

Downloading / trying freeware is what got you into this mess in the first place.. .and you seriously want to continue the madness? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
