It's not real, it's a made-up warning to try to get you to buy whatever program you are getting or will be getting pop ups for.

sounds like spyware that is logging your information, i would try a spyware remover like adaware or spybot search and destroy

its a fake anti-spyware product that is normally bundled with different trojans embedded on Media Codecs as a way of installation
