Why do some "pop-ups" infiltrate my blocker ..?

I find it RAther annoying that such pop-ups as Castlemedia, about blank and online casino can actually barge their way past my popup blocker ..why is that?

spyware hmm .. thought as much. and yeah, I always refuse the free toolbars ..even yahoo and google. Thanks for the advice

Don't get the wrong impression, pop up blockers don't block ad-ware.
Try uninstalling all your add-on toolbars at add/remove programs such as Dealio for example because the full of advertisements.
In future always deny free add-on toolbars when downloading.
If the adverts are still interfering try Ad aware.

Because they are not pop ups from the browser but pop ups from spy ware.
