Why does my Windows Installer keep popping up with Microsoft Office 2003 Edition everytime I logon to the web?

Every time I open my Internet Explorer to get on the web, my Windows Installer pops up saying "Preparing to install Microsoft Office 2003 Edition." It only does it whenever I log on, or open a new window while on the internet, and considerably slows down the computor when the "installer" is on screen. It never used to do it, it just started about a week ago, and it's annoying as hell lol. I think it's a bug, but my Norton scan came up with nothing. Why is it doing it? Is it a legitimate program? What can I do to get rid of it? PLEASE HELP!!!

I don't think its a virus, your windows installer is corrupt (stuck). Search for instructions on repairing or reinstalling windows installer.

You have to get it fixed at a retail or something because if the windows installer is messed up how are you going to install windows installer. You could also do a system restore

I don't know

But I don't think it is a Virus
