Free-anti virus programmes? |
Are their any free anti virus programmes out their thats better than nortan 360?! Additional, are their any that work on a macintosh too? PCTOOLS offer free anti virus and spyware removal for free, I am also using on one of my laptops and it works perfect. AVG anti virus go here There are many free Anti-Viruses out there, just some aren't as good as others, though saying that I wouldn't recommend using two. I do not recommend ANY free software to protect my system. It's like buying cancer drugs on the streetcorner. Norton is a respected company (Symantec). Have problems with them? Call them. Yes, I use AVG (the free version). Yes, there are several. Yea, we had Norton. It sucked, and if you wanna know a little secret...Those guys over at Geek Squad use Avast Home Ed. to remove your viruses, and after it is removed, they charge you a bundle... I use Avast! anti-virus. It's free, but requires registration. But Avast is great- it includes protections for Outlook, IM, and the Internet, and they update the virus database at least every other day, but they normally do it every day. AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers.
