My 13 year old has been watching porn..?

He usually deletes his history but one day he forgot to, and I checked and he'd be watching some redtube site and I don't know who the heck gave this site to him!
But can someone tell me how to block it?
And also, how can I delete the drop down menu that comes in Google
for example if I type
"Yah"
And yahoo comes below and I can select that to save time?
Thanks a lot.

I apologise if this is the wrong category.

Here go to this site , it has step by step on how to block a site :

http://www.delete-computer-history.com/h...

So your going to block every site manually? Good look lol, you want a piece of software that knows most sites and just alows you too add more, like many including myself pointed you @. Report It

There is software to manage the sites your child goes to.

Netnanny is a favorite!

Ummm whats the problem again?

Blockers can be overridden, so they're not worth your time. Don't even let him on the computer. Teach him that disobeying results in a punishment.

You can download different web filters such as NetNanny to eliminate any possibility of the sites being accessed. I am usually "Pro-Porn", but 13 is still a little young.

Hah - my partner looks at redtube! You need to get a net nanny on the pc so that he cannot access this type of stuff. At 13 he is just curious and learning about how he feels about sex and women. If you google net nanny you wull find programmes that can block access to these sites. You can also check what he has been doing by looking at the temporary internet files.

wow! i would suggest moving the computer to the dining room table. or the livingroom. somewhere that you can see what he's looking at at all times. maybe for a couple of weeks at least. yes, he may think it's an invasion of privacy, but sounds to me like he needs it right now. good luck.

Porn...omg at 13? Wow I would hate that if it were my son. Also I would ban his butt from the computer.

You're the parent. Block the porn. Case closed.

hi! download this
http://www.download.com/K9-Web-Protectio...
its free, but i suggest you talk with him first

or you can set a long password to your account and let him use guest account

buy full norton pack antivirus and all
it includes parent control that can restrict the porn sites to open...

for for the dro pdown menu you wanna go internet options in your tools then find a button somewhere that says delete content if you have a new internet explorer it should be grouped with the cookies and history and what not if it istn it should be in one of the other tabs looks through the entire thing

and for the bocking of the sites try finding a program you can dowload on the net that would get rid of that or see if your anti-virus can but i am pretty sure you can find programs for free that you can download

If your the administrator you can go to internet settings in the control panel... the only way I know to delete the drop down is to go to the search box >>> click it >>> press the down arrow, then all the history will come up. You will have to scroll down to each one and press delete.

I would move the computer to a public room. Put a password on Windows and only let him use it when you are home. You do not have to constantly watch over his shoulder but I would check up on him from time to time.

Porn sites are easy to get just type "porn" in the Yahoo! search bar and you will get plenty.

The main thing is not to expect the computer to protect him, this will take good parenting.

please use this software to block porn and content filtering.

The Internet is a wonderful educational tool but as a parent you obviously want to protect your children from viewing pornography and adult websites. FreeShield is the simple, easy to use solution to change your PC into a safe educational tool by filtering out pornography. its normal

Go to tools, internet options and click on security.

But I'm sorry to say this but it is pretty normal nowadays for a kid that age to be looking at porn. Some sites make it so easy. But if he has access to the internet all the time. I highly doubt you can do anything from stopping him becus he will probably unblock the websites. And I'm 100% sure he also masterbates on a regular basis.

I was already watching porn when I was that age. It didn't mess with my head, I'm pretty successful now at 20 years old.

he's a teenager! Would you rather he was gay?

Follow these are which browser you use

Internet Explorer
BLOCK SITES

1.Go to the internet options in tools.
2. Click on the security tab on the top where it says general content and others click on security.
3.Click on restricted sites.
4. On the side it says sites click on that.
5. Now add the website you wanna block.

DELETE THE YAH THING WHICH COMES IN SEARCH BOX

1. Go to the internet options in the tools
2. Click on content tab
3. At the bottom of that it says auto complete click on settings next to that.
4. Now uncheck all of the ticks and select ok.

Think this could do it http://www.parentalcontrolbar.org/ i been looking into it as my nephew is now starting to explore the net.

Personally, I don't know exactly how you feel because I am not a parent.. But your child is a teenager, He is in Junior High most likely? His friend's must always talk about hot girl and how they want to "bang them." So he might get a little curious.. I don't think you should block the porn, if he begins to look at really dirty things, like strange fetishes, you might want to end it right away. You are most likely also using internet explorer, if not, you are using Firefox, and with Firefox you have that privilege of the Google drop down. You can goto Tools > Options > Privacy and check the box that doesn't save the data.

I really wish you luck with this situation, but 13 really isn't very young.. He is a teen now. You may not want to hear this, but your boy is growing up more quickly everyday! Let him explore a little, as long as he is safe and healthy (and masturbating is healthy) then why not let him?

Probably some other kid at school told him about it, most lads probably look at some, if only out of curiosity. I wouldn't worry about it, it's quite normal.

What's worrying is that porn sites often install malware on your pc (though I doubt he'd know that). It would be a good idea to run a full system scan with your anti-virus program, and/or run an on-line scan, e.g.
NOD32 online scan:
http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/
BitDefender online scan:
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

There's several ways you can block websites, some without paying anything. A Hosts file is quite a good way and it will protect you from lots of other (about 40,000) known 'bad' sites. You can also add sites yourself, if you want.
MVPS Hosts file: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.ht...

I'd also suggest that you set up a Limited User account for him. This will allow him to use the computer but not to make any changes to the system, or to (intentionally or otherwise) install any programs. It will keep your pc a lot safer.

he should be banned from the computer, kids should not be allowed to be on computers anyway because they think everything is a game and i am sure you do not want to pay for a computer that can get a virus in it because of high risk virus sites, the kid should pay attention to going to school and doing his homework instead.

This is soo normal, why are you worrying
it is a part of growing up.....

hey your sons just growing up and experiancing things, its only natural, and for the google thingtheres a settings button nsomewhere there click that and select the opion that best fits what you want from google.
good luck with it, and i hope your son's porn thing is just a phase. and hopefully he doesnt turn into the typical woman-izing man.
