Is Avast less good than other paying antivirus ? |
I rather have a free antivirus if this antivirus is good. I have Windows Vista. But if I pay another antivirus, will it bring me something better than Avast? or Avast is good enough? So according to brockin??whatever, Avast is the worst he's never seen?!? I've successfully used Avast for nearly 5 years. It updates daily, and I've never had a virus successfully get past it. It caught a virus recently in an email, so why wouldn't I trust it? Why do people think that paying a high price for something makes it better than free versions that have been around longer and more successfully?!?!? Avast is good enough, but nod32 and Kaspersky are the king. Just don't go for Norton or mcafee. I had a bad experience with Norton. It detected a virus but couldn't remove it. no avast is not the best. kaspersky Kaspersky Internet Security includes all the components of Kaspersky Anti-Virus, as well as some additional ones. The application features real-time protection, detection and removal of viruses, trojans, worms, spyware, adware and keyloggers, as well as detection and removal of rootkits. KIS also includes a personal firewall, parental control and spam and phishing protection.Kaspersky Internet Security has won numerous awards from respected IT Journals, such as PC Authority, PC World, PC Professional, PC Pro, Computer Shopper and Computerbild. It is also the winner of many editor's choice of websites like CNET and Softpedia. Avast is a pretty decent anti virus. good in protection but also have a rather high false positives rate (that is detects a virus or a trojan even if it is not). If you rather want a free antivirus go with avira antivir classic. The only problem is that it has limited usage (good for at least several months) then you have to go to another cycle of installing/updating it. If you dislike this option go with AVG free edition. It is better than avast (although just a slight difference). But if you're willing to pay then go with - 1. kaspersky AV, 2. ESET NOD32 AV or 3. avira's antivir premium Hello, |
