Computer help! Delete bearshare can I save the songs to my computer?

I have bearshare and was told it's really bad and can cause alot of viruses on my computer. I want to delete it, but was wondering if I can keep the songs, save them to my computer so I can play then in my media player. Can I do this and if so how? Thanks in advance? (step by step help would be appreciated, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to computers)

bearshare is quite safe as compared to other p2ps.

i would recommend not to download exe files from p2ps.

bearshare creates a default directory named *my bearshare*,i don't remember exactly,it goes in my documents.your songs should be there.you can transfer those songs to any other location.

Create new folder, name it whatever you want. Then open the folder with the songs in it, highlight alll of them, and on the left click on >move to>new folder (you created) That should do it, if not let me know, and I'll go through another option.
