My f*ing comp has a virus and i don't know what to do. its been going crazy. first its really slow. second i keep getting really annoying popups and junk mail and everytime i get on the interenet the page is anitspyware or computer virus protection and even if i do download those on my computer they don't work they just tell me i have a virus and than that is it. they search for spyware and get rid of it
for some virus software most of them will tell you u have something just to get you to pay for it.
try running both programs and get either mcaffee or norton if it doesnt help either one is worth the money. Ok what you have to do is Format your computer Start everything fresh. If you portant thing rite now you have to get on cd or flash! After you format you gona need virus program and you can get dat from softarchieve.net and dont dowload those spyware those kind of stuff they key loggers or virus! Start simple, safe mode without networking, go to run type msconfig go to startup tab, uncheck all boxes except the ones for antivirus, exit.
Unplug network conection
Run - type services.msc - check for unfamiliar services, disable those services - exit
Configure your antivirus to run scan at next startup.
Delete all internet content from IE
Check for spam in Outlook - delete
Restart computer in normal mode allowing antivirus to run.
If no good - system restore
If no good - check your latest content changes and chase the damn thing down and delete it/rename the exe file
if no good - well I always get the virus so a format doesnt exist First of all, you have a malware infection, and so the programs that you're being recommended by your computer will only make the problems worse.
