If you scan a text (Such as a MS Word DoC) image, can you edit the text on your computer? If you scan a MS Word Doc as an image, you can't edit the text on your computer because you took a photograph (think PhotoCopy) of it, probably as a ".jpg". No, you have to do what they call OCR (optical character recognition) on the image. Most scanners come with free OCR software, just install it from the CD that came with the scanner. I understand your issue, and my answer is Yes. |
