Ok, I had this idea a long time ago that it would be fun to create a website similar to MySpace and Facebook. My question is, is could I do it for free? And also, how do you create a website using notepad? Oh... Well, Scratch that idea... Yes, you can create a site using notepad. Just open it up, write the code, and save it as the appropriate file type, such as .html. This of course assumes you know how to write HTML code. This only creates the site. To put it on the Internet, you'll need a web host. While there are free hosts, if you want your site to be taken seriously, I'd recommend a web host and domain name that cost money, as the money buys you a lot more features. No, you need to pay for the program to create the website and no, you can't create a website using notepad.
