How do I go on blocked sites at school? [with my own computer/no proxy]? |
I have my own computer that I take to school. The school only blocks two sites: Myspace and Facebook, and if you go to these sites it redirects to the school website; it doesn't say "social networking is blocked" or anything like that- it is just two specific websites everything else is okay. I know there is a way to get on these websites WITHOUT a proxy, but I'm not sure how. All I know is that it is something within internet options and the system registry or something like that. well using the IP addresses work to get you to the home page, but you can't go to any links or login or any of that. Try it by the Ip numbers instead of www.myspace.com http://www.vtunnel.com/ hold i know where there shud be one................nvm it got removed No it's not. The school has set up a filter at the server controlling the internet traffic into and out of there which looks for those sites and then redirects the traffic at the server. There's nothing in your internet options that can alter what goes on at the server. The only way you can get around it is by using a proxy server (which is most likely blocked by the IT people at your school as well) or by using a VPN connection to your home computer. I always use these ones: CHECK YIOUR EMAIL OR EMAIL ME AT giggleman02@yahoo.com To unblock websites (such as myspace) from school (or other secure computers) just use a proxy. you need fresh unblocked proxies everyday as proxies tend to be blocked in a matter of days. |
