Microsofts Front page- If you have any experience it runs just like Microsoft word. What ever you type or pictures you add the code is automatically updated for you. Its so easy!!

I am just an webdesigner and not affliated to any company, but I think Dreamweaver is the best and the easiest of all editors ( WYSWYG ).

That said, I believe hand coding too is very important to get control on your code.

So before jumping to any software do practice a lot with hand coding ( HTML, CSS, PHP etc ).

i used websitebuilder that is with my host company.

it was pretty easy.

Make it proper, not a little kids site like Freewebs. Use Dreamweaver and HTML, PHP from tutorials. I learnt in no time and now i'm pretty good at web design! good luck!

There are 3 major WYSIWYG Editors on the market that are retail that work well for people who don't know a lot of coding:

Frontpage (old now)
Microsoft Expression Web (Replaced Frontpage)
and Dreamweaver

All of these programs you have to pay for to use.

If you're looking to find a free editor you're not going to get the support or the features of the pay programs. There's lots of free editors that you can use! I've included a site with a list of free editors
