How to make a website for free (with very limited knowledge)?

I don't want websites like freewebs, I want my own free domain, like
example.com or example.tk.
I know HTML, and I could start learning PHP, but I need something easy to make and neat, that looks professional in a way.

Free domains do not exist because the company that is selling a domain (e.g. godaddy.com) has to pay VeriSign and ICANN to register your domain. If you really want your own domain I reccomend buying one at http://www.godaddy.com

There are a couple of alternatives as long as you don't mind advertisement on your site. Microsoft Office Live Basics offers a free domain. The only catch is that it will include their logo and link to their service on your site. They are hoping to snag a large share of the market by offering a free domain, hosting and 500MB of storage. It will require a credit card to verify your age.

You can also visit http://www.dot.tk/ and register a free domain but it will end in .tk rather than .com.

You could also try a free Web hosting site like http://www.freewebs.com and then use http://www.freedomain.co.nr/ to get a free sub domain. It will redirect the URL to your site without a long difficult Web address.
