What text editing program should I use to write HTML on a Mac?

I know you can use Wordpad on PCs. I tried using... I think it was called "Text Edit" on my Mac, but it won't let me save it as .html... So I'm not sure how it's normally done.

I use Taco HTML Edit. It's a freebie, and will let you preview your work in the browser of your choice (I mostly use OmniWeb, but also FireFox), color codes your code as you type, and so forth. Edits both html and php. I've used it to rework our rescue group's website. If you're interested in looking at it, email me and I'll send you the link.
