How do you start a Website and make money from the links?

Is this really hard?Also, how do I design my LOGO and the design for thr site without having to hire someone? Who do you trust for best hosting ??

To start a website you need to sign up for hosting. I recommend anybody with site builder. Beginners use site builder, everybody else uses html. If you learn html then you can make much better websites (and designs) but find a hosting company who offers site builder (any hosting company except for www.web.com, they are horrible customer service). Site builder has free designs on it. You dont need to hire anyone to make a basic website design.I have only been with them, now I finally figured how to switch hosts with a website already made so I can't recommend any hosting site just yet (and i would avoid anybody on here who does recommend hosting because they are most likely just trying to promote their own hosting by using yahoo answers to advertise). Sign up for hosting and a domain name and make your website. Site builder has instructions for this. After your website is made, you put google adsense ads on your website or affiliate links. Sign up for an account at google adsense or go to commissionjunction.com and sign up to find affiliates to promote. For a logo, you can make a decent logo for free at http://cooltext.com/. I make more money promoting links on other peoples sites then on my own if that makes any sense to you. Building a website to make money is very hard. All I do is this kind of stuff and out of all the ways to make money on the internet, building blogs and websites to make money has been the hardest. Just look at all the people who use sites like yahoo answers to spam. They wouldnt be spamming if their websites brought people naturally. Building a website with links is easy, getting people there is the hard part. Adsense is a waste of time in my opinion unless you are getting thousands of people a day and the only way to bring thousands a day is to advertise. You can use adwords to advertise your site. Adsense is the other end of Adwords. People pay money (usually around .10-.35 cents a click) to advertise their websites on the internet. Lets say you sign up for adsense, and Joe has a website and signs up for adwords. Lets say Holly visits your website. You signed up for adsense so you have ads on your website. Holly clicks on Joe's ad, it brings Holly to Joe's website. Joe pays google .20 cents and google keeps .10 cents and gives you .10 cents for letting Joe advertise on your site. Thats google adwords and adsense, in a nutshell. It's hard to pay for adwords to bring people to your site, so they click your adsense ads and you make money. This is very hard because clicks from adsense dont pay much. Affiliate links pay better, but you only get payed when someone purchases something usually, not just from the click.
