How do I figure out the best Web Hosting service for my new website? Try going to a neutral web hosting review site like at http://www.webhostingreviewsnews.com/ and look at a few of the web hosting services. You should look at them primarily on cost, size and usability. Maybe reputation too but that's much tougher to figure out since a lot of reviews are sponsored or placed. Why not bandwidth? Most offer more bandwidth than you need, and if it winds up being a problem you will be a huge success and can then look for a higher bandwidth account or for a dedicated hosting solution. I'd say look at 3-4 different web hosts from the list like Go Daddy, Hostgator, iPowerWeb, HostMonster and see which one feels best to you. I read a lot of good reviews about 1and1.com That would depend on what your site needs. Bandwidth? Storage? Speed? Low price? Yeah, I spent a week reading reviews before I ended up with bluehost. I recommend them for smaller hosting needs (less than 5 sites on one account). 1and1 web hosting sucks, I had to move my website to another web hosting provider http://aplis.net/ you can also give them a try. First month free. You can do your own research. I did the same thing and concluded with HostGator. Using them now. Very reliable and fast. Good monthly payment system and money back guarantee.
