I am lost ...in VB.NET?

I need to make a calculator in VB.net .The calculator should be a windows forms VB.NET application.
Which version of VB do I need to download to get started? I never used VB , I only learned Java. Anyone can give me a tutorial or exlain me the basic features? Thank you so much !!

I'm not sure about the version of VB.net because i never bought it but used in my school

first of all learn VB which is simialar to basic (or Qbasic) language and different from java

then u need to make a form with some buttons and a text message to dispaly the numbers. and then program this form.
