There are multiple users sharing a single Datasheert..? |
Is there any way i can track what each of the user have entered into the sheet day wise??? Yes you can all you do is open the workbook, then on you menu click TRACK CHANGES>HIGHLIGHT CHANGES, then on the dialogue box check the box that says "TRACK CHANGES WHILE EDITING. THIS WILL SHARE YOUR WORKBOOK. Once you have done that select the when, who and "where" check box, once you check the "where" box, click the arrow on the far right of this box, highlight the potion of the sheet where you want to track the changes, then click the X in the corner of the dialogue box. Then click ok. Now you can change a potion of the chosen tracking area. Then a blue flag appears on the chnaged area and if you move your mouse over the flag it generates a date and time stamp and tells you who made the change and what they changed it to. Done. |
