How do I get Binary(.Bin)Extension back??? |
I have files that I use for flashing that use the .Bin extension....I did something wrong cuz, the .bin extension now opens with internet explorer....how do I change it back to its orignal binary format/?? when I right click it to open with its default way, its not listed.....Need help fast......... Took a while...Imagine this with Vista....By error you open a file with by pressing "Open with..." with another program such as Internet explorer....So I would think just enable it back to normal by selecting from the list....BUT Vista doesnt have that Option! So thats what happend with my Bin files theres no "selecting the Bin format"......So after searching like crazy and FINALLY found a program I recommend called A utility to unassociate file types in Windows Vista......sort of acts like putting it back to default settings....Look for a program called Unassoc.exe (V1.3) in http://www.winhelponline.com......Hope it helps for future reference.......And thanxs guys for trying to help....The thought counts... Right click, then 'Open With', then 'Choose Program', then select the program you want to use in the list, or Browse and find the .exe (your flashing program). Shift-right click --> open with |
