How can I publish my website from Dreamweaver?

I have a template I purchased from MonsterTemplate.com & have edited it using Dreamweaver.

Any info I can see online seems to provide details on starting a site from scratch, but not for when you're working with a template.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, I have a hosting provider. Wasn't aware that they could do this for me...I'll get in touch with them.

I'm telling you that purchased templates are evil, a pain in the butt, and not worth the time. I'm not saying this from a designer standpoint but when I was working for a company they had one from templatemonster and it was so confusing to work on. The pages were named funny, things didn't link right....anyway...make sure you get rid of the template numbers on the pages because you need index to be index..not 2323_index.html

Assuming that you've already extracted the files into a folder where you want the site to live:

When you set up the site in Dreamweaver, you need to go to to Site>New Site. Name the site, under local root folder, browse to find the folder that has your html files. Under default images folder, that should be within the website folder. Everything else is ok as is...click the remote info tab, then choose FTP on the dropdown. Put your website address under host (unless they gave you something else) and your login info. Then click ok. It will put all of your local files on the right sidebar under local files. When you want to upload you can click on the files you want to upload and click on the blue "up" arrow.

I use hosting services where a lot is done for you. Like
EasySiteBuild which is located here http://tinyurl.com/2yq4kz

Give that a try.

You need to set up a 'site' and fill in the connection information for the FTP server.
