How can I learn how to build wire frames?

I am going for a job where you are required to know how to build wire frames or 'information architecture' for web clients. I need to know how to learn this quickly and cheaply. I am confident when talking about the terms but I dont know the techie stuff to actually create these mock - up's myself ....
