When I google my site I do not see the home page on the list that appear but rather the privacy policy, why?

when i google my site i do not see the home page on the results but rather the privacy policy, terms and conditions which is on my home page but at the bottom in small. Why is it coming out like that?? What did i do wrong? I am a newby!

Worry not, you can fix this with a little research and elbow grease.

Basically, Google decides what and where information is displayed in their search results. These decisions are made by very complex algorithms. Note that you can't demand any search engine to follow your orders. You can just design your site in such a manner that most engines will respond to your "requests".
