The Binary # 11 Would Have The Decimal Equivalent Of...?

Please Explain.....I'm no good at this sorta thing :)

Hi,
To convert Binary number in to decimal follow the given below steps:

For eg : 110111 we want to convert into decimal.

110111(Base 2) = 1 x 2^5 + 1 x 2^4 + 0 x 2^3 + 1x2^2 + 1x 2^1 + 1x2^0

=1x32 + 1 x 16 + 0 x 8 + 1 x 4 + 1 x 2 + 1 x 1
= 32 + 16 + 0 + 4 + 2 + 1
= 55 (Base 10)

Note :
The symbol ^ is used in place of power or raise to.
for eg. 2 ^ 3 u can read as 2 raise to 3.

Little bit difffy. but study it the given example, I hope u will understand the concept.
