Help! Printer won't collate with Vista? |
Help! This is making me crazy and I HAVE to get this done. I am using an HP color laserjet 3700dm with Windows Vista. All drivers are as updated as they can get. I can't seem to get this to collate which is a HUGE problem for me. Any ideas or am I just out of luck with Vista Its my pleasure to assist you. Vista is no good, go back to XP mine did that to... never mind the update , you wil probably have to re-install and then update the drivers.... try running as administrator or...go to properties and make it compatible with xp service pack 1 or 2. Dump Vista and install XP. All your problems will magically disappear. I had Vista for about 6 months before I finally had enough and dumped it. |

If you use the type of cartridge that has the brass like chip on the front, there may be ink residue on the strip, you need to very carefully clean the cartridge and clean the inside of the printer... sounds like a problem with the os its self go to system restore and send the pc back to a few days before you had the problems with your old printer. if that dose not work. you may need to reinstal...
