Why does my printer spit out one empty page before printing the rest?

one of a couple of reasons. #1, the printer itself is set to page feed before printing. If this is so, you can go through the printer options and disable it (should be in your printer manual). #2, if your using a server, the server may be set to send a page feed between print jobs. #3, the software on your computer is set to page feed before the job. you could also make sure you have the correct print driver and page size.

somewhere in the preferences there's an option for that

Right click on the printer icon from control panel> printer and faxes folder.

> Click on properties.

> Advanced tab > check print directly to printer.

Click on apply and Ok.

> If you are facing the same issue even after trying with the above steps.

Try to install alternate drivers.

If you are able to print fine with alternate drivers it may be the issue with the software of the printer.

You need to uninstall and reinstall the software.
