Help with my hp photosmart printer?

i thought it was oof, so i pressed power to turnit on

well it had been on all along, and now its taking foreverrr to shut down

i have to print a report,,,, sooo how do i get it to turn back on????

or how long will it take to shut down?

btw its a HP Photosmart c6280 all in one printer scanner copier

Unplug it then plug it back in. If the power button is on its ready for work. If the power button's off turn it on.

I understand that you are not able to turn ON your printer.

If so please follow the given steps below .

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Disconnect the
USB/Ethernet cable from the All-in-One and also disconnect power cable from All-in-One and also from wall outlet.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Plug in the power cable to All-in-One and also to wall outlet.

4. Check for the functionality.
