Couple of quick questions to do with layouts?

Hello, so i'm using this layout from coolchaser.com, and it overrides my custom font size and colour, so that my whole page uses the layout's default font size and colour. Can anyone tell me what part of the code i have to take out so it doesn't do this?

Also, i'm using a code that hides my top friends, but is there a way to get it so it still says "Sean has [number] friends" and "View all my friends" but without showing my top friends?
