Whay r so many people aginst myspace?

i understant parents being aginst it bc of underaged kids pretending to be older and creeps that lurk in the internet.. but i mean why so my negative comments towards it? what do u think of it?

well i think there is nothing wrong with myspace...its depends who's the person adds......so it depends what of kid it is they are worring about...like eg: there might be a really nieve kid...but me personaly its a good way to socials:D and maybe make new friends:D...and can you add me-lol i was the person who asked "who has myspace" my 1 is www.myspace.com/greek_koukla_100

It's good in theory, but fails in practice. There's the scum that you so eloquently have mentioned, but most of the pages are too heavily modified to run smoothly. It's fully of spyware and annoying ads, and most of the moderators don't seem to bother with enforcing the rules they set forth themselves.

well i personally enjoy myspace. but its the kids/creepy ppl/dumb ppl/etc that ruin due to the fact that they see a profile with a picture so that must be the real guy, and hey he asked me to meet him at nighttime, i guees ill go see him...

for me it's just overrated. as long as you put your webpage as private, it's safe.
i think people are using more of facebook since myspace is considered "lame" now. it's just trend thing,.

I personally like myspace because a lot of friends I no longer see everyday are there. But myspace is a hotbed for pedophiles and the like. Not to mention all of the myspace whores and the popularity contest for 85490695489340594 friends.
