Why do some ppl think myspace is so bad???

like i no ppl have been raped from the site but as long as ur careful u should be fine...y do ppl think its so bad if there r so many ways the ppl on it can keep themselves safe and they just dnt choose to?

you're totally right. are there predators out there? yes, but unless you totally lead them on and agree to meet them, i highly doubt you can get raped.
all the stories i've seen about myspace being bad will be like I GOT RAPED BECAUSE OF MYSPACE and then once i read into them, the girl will be like "yeah like all i did was bed over to the point where my boobs were showing, and told everyone im 18, and i just thought this guy was cute and agreed to meet with him at macdonalds"

I think most people get the stereotype of rapists as only attacking myspace when they really rape anywhere else too,for example you do not hear anyone talking about rapist on facebook

MySpace is only bad if you let it be bad. Like putting revealing pictures, too much info (I know a lot of people that put phone numbers up and it worries me). Make the profile private and everything else appropriate. Remember, potential employers can use this against you as well. Just be smart.
