I dont think it is bad at all i actually think it is a good way to comminicate with friends but ALL I SAY IS DONT PUT ANY OF YOUR INFO. ON THERE AND DONT TALK TO STARNGERS [[we all heard that before]]

i agree with what you said! dont talk to strangers keep your profile private and dont give any1 you dont know info!!

I have found myspace to be very useful.
And it's more fun and less annoying than facebook.

I don't think it's bad, but I prefer facebook.

i had 1 but i deleted it wen i realised that it pretty much somes up my generation .. every1 seems abit obsessed (no offence meant to any1)

I don't think it's bad. I have had a lot of fun on their and networked with many interesting people from all over the place. There is always going to be a vulnerability to exploit it though.

THERE iS NOTHiNG WORNG WiTH MYSPACE for the teenage to young adult crowd, but can be used by anyone. The only issue is the people themselves. There is no risk in having an account or even a profile but some people insert more information than they should. Sometimes when they have pictures they get more attention from those would-be predators. As long as the individual knows how to be careful with information, it's perfectly safe. The internet, in reality, is safer than the real world as long as you know how to keep information to yourself.

Well Myspace was made to "MEET NEW PEOPLE"...all you have to do is watchout who you talk to and not give out ur info to random strangers...Also make ur page private if you only want your freinds to see it.

i know ur so right i just got a myspace for the second time and the first i didn't have long @ all but i know my mom hates myspace she doesn't know i have 1 i mean who's gonna know anything if u don't tell them anything hope i helped see ya

It's a case by case situation. Sometimes it can be bad just depending on how you allow your profile to be viewed, who you accept as friends, what information you post and to what accuracy...basically...just be smart, be private, and be careful.

no, I dont think it is bad, there are bad people that use and abuse others, and no matter what these people will always find a way to hurt others. We all need to be smart about our myspace ( especially parents ) and not put their names, school names,mascots, Unless this is done in a way that there is not too much info EX- live in houston, - Go Eagles -, but this would not work if you live in a small city.

Myspace is as good a website as YOU choose to make it. You can make it so very beautiful, original, sincere, friendly, plus, you can make it as private as you like.

there is actually nothing bad about myspace. the only problem is that some people don't know how to keep their information out of the hands of strangers. some people just don't see the risks of giving their private information (like phone number, address, email, even pics, and the myspace profile itself). some people don't realize that myspace lets you put your profile on PRIVATE (just like facebook, which is deemed "safer" than myspace) and deny any strangers that try to add you to their friends list (again just like facebook).
