Myspace phishing scam?

what does that mean?
my friend sent me a message then after i press sent
it said it was a scam and i almost got phished
does it mean that person almost hacked my account?

yes it happen to me, your friends sent your a message just like any normal messasge but when you reply and press send, tom will pop up and said you got phish and need to change your password. then you change your password it should be normal

Did the URL on the address bar altered to something unusual of myspace URLs? If so, then you probably got your account hacked. Change the password right away.

it's when you get a message asking you to click a link- normally the link will promise to show you a video, take you to a great offer or something, and then you are asked to log in again- but you are not actually at the myspace log in screen, you are taken to a site that looks like it. however, at the top, it will not say login.myspace, it will be different. if you put in your log in details then the phisher gets them and they get in your account.
i had this on ebay and someone sold loads of stuff on my account and i got billed for loads of sellers fees and negative feedback (which got sorted out eventually). Be very careful and make sure that the correct address is showing for the site, and if you get a weird comment with a link in it that doesn't seem right or looks like an advert, delete it.

Phishing your myspace means that somebody stole your password and is sending out crazy messages like "Hot girls crazy night" or sumthing like that. All you have to do is just change your password and it shouldn't get phished. Just don't click on messages your unsure about.
