How to undo split screens?

am trying to work with yahoo. its new to me. I somehow seem to have split my monitor screen. can't get back to original. also the desktop icons that used to be at the bottom of the screen are now on right side. can't even get the start icon to the bottom.

Are you using ATI graphics card?
If so, try locate your ATI tool from your taskbar. You might have accidentally click or press a shortcut button to invoke it.

If you find it (with moving mouse a hassle) right click again and look for: rotate display> standard landspace.

If the Toolbar has moved to the right hand side, close down a few windows until you can see some blank toolbar, and then grab the blank area of the toolbar with the mouse, and drag it back down to the bottom.
