Does the inside of you monitor need cleaned?

http://www.tcvh.com/screenclean.swf

that's a big no go. Unless you are a professional i would only recommend using air duster. Inside a monitor (assuming its a CRT) or a monitor that's not LCD, there is an item called a Cathode Ray Tube. This item is essentially a large Capacitor. If this item isn't discharged cerectly, 100% correctly, it can kill you. No joke about that. It stores enough electricity even turned off for days at a time to stop your heart if it discharges into you. Just be careful in whatever decision you make but i wouldn't recommend it.

NO

air spray with hot soapy water

No. Don't ever do that. It's dangerous.

it says at the back of your monitor
"do not open risk of electric shock
no user serviceable parts inside"
It may need some cleaning for some time, hire a professional.

lol no thanks

It does now.

Yeach.
