MSN display picture gets cropped!?

when a picture has been uploaded in Windows live messenger, in the display pic coloumn,it gets cut from all four sides.this is really annoying..
any suggestions to overcome this?

There was a plug in (Stuff Plug NG) that did this in the old MSN Messenger days but it would only show if the other user had it installed as well. Other than that, I don;t think there was any other. Your best bet to get a picture properly placed is to use a photo editing application (Picasa is your best bet as its thumbnails show what a picture would look like in a MSN/WL Messenger dp) and put it a way you would like it to be seen.

Plus Windows Live Messenger 9 is rumored to be doing some work as far display pictures is concerned. But this wouldn't be out until this time next year for the earliest.
