Msn Messenger Question.?

If i re-install my Msn Messenger will it erase my contacts or will they remain there after the re-install? Thanks.

Yes they will be there after the install.

Your contacts are stored into a internet account like hotmail or another emailing service.

They should stay there but make a back-up list just in case

I think it will delete them, but as long as they are in your Hotmail contacts list you can re-add them after you re-install it.

If you are just updating (not reinstalling) MSN messenger, it will not delete your contacts. It will just update the software/program.

No you will not loose your contacts. msn save your contacts on their server so you can access your contacts from another computer. it will be finre to reinstall msn.

They will be fine. But if you have worries you can make a backup of your contacts

(under Windows Live Messenger, would be similar under MSN Messenger)

Your contacts will always be there, unless you delelte your acct. If you have never tried, log in on a different computer using messenger or an internet based IM. Your contacts will still appear there, becuase they are stored on the website.

They will be there. You can go to any computer in the world, install MSN messenger, sign in , and all your friends will be there.

Yes they will re-install, but you can always save your whole contact list from your MSN for safety.
On the main MSN screen click contacts ---> Save instant messaging contacts, then choose a place to save them.
To import the contacts into MSN, click Contacts ---> Import instant messaging contacts and find where you save them.

This is also great if you decide to make a new MSN account and need to add all of your contacts again!

yeh they should still be there
